On Friday, December 4, 2015, President Obama signed the five-year, $305 billion “Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (FAST ACT). The new law will invest $48 billion in the nation’s public transportation systems and other transit projects, according to American Public Transportation Association (APTA).
