The Callahan Center operates a 12-passenger van to transport Framingham residents over the age of 55 and disabled residents of any age to destinations within Framingham. This vehicle is wheelchair accessible.
Schedule/Rate:
Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. typically $2 per one-way ride.

Free Taxi rides within Framingham:
The City of Framingham funds a taxi subsidy program to offer rides to senior residents of Framingham to destinations within Framingham.

Free Taxi rides beyond Framingham:
Thanks to a grant from Mass Development Finance Agency, taxi transportation to non-emergency medical care beyond Framingham’s borders is available while funds last. This can be to a medical appointment in Boston medical area, visits to long-term care facilities, or other necessary destinations outside Framingham.

Volunteer assisted rides:
The Callahan Center has a limited number of volunteers to take people to various appointments using their own vehicles.
