- Description: The Council on Aging operates two handicap-accessible vans. Both offer Dedham seniors (55 and over) and disabled residents curbside transportation to local:
– medical appointments (Mon, Wed, Fri)
– grocery shopping (Tue – Stop and Shop, Thurs – Shaw’s)
– local errands (Mon, Wed, Fri)
– local food pantry (second and fourth Wednesday)
Scheduling depends on availability. Please call at least two weeks ahead of your travel date to arrange transportation. On the day of your appointment, we suggest being ready 30-45 minutes prior to your appointment time. The earliest scheduling will be one month prior to an appointment. If possible please contribute a $2.00 donation when you ride the bus.
