- Description: The Town of Great Barrington, through the TriTown Connector, offers transportation service for seniors in Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Monterey, New Marlborough and West Stockbridge. Senior transportation is available to those aged 55 and up, and also to the disabled. Just call 413-591-3826.
Tell them where you are and where you want to go. A TriTown Connector van will pick you up and take you where you want to go, within those five towns. You can schedule a ride for anytime during the hours of operation, but you can only call to schedule your ride between 8:00AM and 4:00PM.
Discounted tickets for 10 one-way rides, can be purchased by residents of Egremont, Great Barrington, Monterey, New Marlborough, Stockbridge and West Stockbridge, at the Claire Teague Senior Center transportation office, in Great Barrington, weekdays from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Tickets may also be purchased on the vans and at local Senior Centers. Prices for these discounted tickets are: $15.00 for travel within one town, a 25% discount, and $25.00 for multi-town trips, a 38% discount.
Rides are also available for seniors to medical appointments in Pittsfield for $15.00 (round trip) but only between 8:00AM and 4:00PM, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
All TriTown Connector rides will be provided at no cost for all in-town and multi-town rides (excluding Pittsfield trips) through December 31.
