- Description: DIAL-A-BAT serves the elderly and disabled population in Brockton, Abington, Avon, Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, Stoughton, Whitman and parts of Easton, Hanson and Rockland. How to Request a Ride To arrange a trip in Brockton, contact DIAL-A-BAT at (508) 584-5530 before 4:00PM the day before your trip, or you can call up to two weeks before your trip. For communities outside of Brockton, please contact the Council on Aging (COA) of your town to reserve a trip. Times may vary. Please be ready and watching for your van 15 minutes prior to your pick-up time. If you are not outside waiting, drivers will make their presence known by sounding the horn. Please help us maintain our schedule by being ready. Return trips must be booked in advance along with your outbound trip. You can schedule the time you would like DIAL-A-BAT to come pick you up. ADA – $3.00 each way within the ADA service area. $4.00 to go beyond the ADA service Area to one of BAT’s communities. All of Brockton is within BAT’s ADA service area, as well as parts of Avon, Abington, Whitman, Stoughton, and Easton. Call (508) 584-5530 to determine specific trip eligibility. Seniors – $3.00 each way within the same community. $4.00 from one community to another community. Groups of 6+ people traveling together, to and from the same destination, ride for half fare. Ten Ride Pass Books are available for $30 and $40 for the convenience of our passengers. For more information, please contact DIAL-A-BAT at 508-584-5530. Personal care attendants ride for free.
