Description: “Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT)-Dial-A-BAT operates ADA Dial-A-Bat services for seniors 65 years of age or older and persons with disabilities. The service can be used for shopping, doctor appointments, and visits with friends anywhere within the City of Brockton as well as limited service to Easton, Stoughton, Abington, Whitman, and Avon within 3/4 of a mile of the regular scheduled fixed route bus. FARES: $3.00 one way or $4.00 from one Dial-a-Bat community to another dial-a-bat community. To arrange a trip in Brockton, call Dial-a-Bat before 4:00 p.m., at least one day in advance. For other communities, please contact the Council on Aging (COA) in following towns for trip reservation.
