Steamship Authority operates both a traditional ferry and also the Iyanough, a high-speed, dock-to-dock in one hour passenger service. Operation hours between May – Oct. generally run 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM with a limited schedule the rest of the year. As the lifeline to the islands, Steamship Authority offers frequent year-round service for automobiles, trucks and passengers. Steamship’s U.S. Coast Guard certified crews are committed to the highest level of safety at sea.
