Description: The Auburn Council on Aging (COA) provides ADA transportation in contract with the Worcester Regional Transit Authority. This is a complementary Paratransit Service to eligible people with disabilities, as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. The service is provided by the COA during their service hours and by the WRTA’s operating company during the hours when Auburn is not on the road. The transportation route works around a 3/4-mile buffer from the WRTA’s fixed bus routes as well as same days and times of the bus route. To schedule a ride, call the WRTA office at (508) 752-9283. Eligibility is determined through an in-house application process you can start over the phone. Please plan at least 72 hours in advance if it’s your first time registering for the service otherwise 48 hours in advance.FARES: $2.25 in town with an additional 25c for each town away.Last Updated: October 2022
