- Description: Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) – Hilltown Easy Ride is a van service for seniors over 60 and veterans in the towns of Chesterfield, Cummington, Goshen, Plainfield and Worthington. This service provides rides to medical appointments, pre-scheduled shopping, and COA Social Outings. To reserve a spot, call or email the dispatcher at least 24 hours in advance at ride@hilltowncdc.org or 413-296-4232. Interested riders must be pre-approved for eligibility with this FRTA form. You can print and send directly to FRTA, or request assistance with Ed Pelletier at ride@hilltowncdc.orgHOURS:Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm SCHEDULE: Monday & Wednesday – Medical Appointments Tuesday – Northampton Big Y & Walmart Thursday – Pittsfield Shopping Friday – Fun Day (COA Social Outings)FARES: Fares are paid in cash and driver is unable to make change. Punch cards in $5 and $10 increments are available to conveniently prepay for multiple trips. Half Fares on Senior Center Trips. $1.25 – one way trip within the same town $1.75 – one way trip to an adjacent towns $2.25 – one way trip beyond adjacent towns All trips to Senior Centers are $.75 (in town trips), $1.00 (adjacent town trips) and $1.25(beyond adjacent town trips).
