- Description: North Andover Elder Services provides transportation to North Andover Residents 65 and older. Trip Purpose: Medical Appointments: Medical transportation for North Andover seniors is offered weekdays through the NEET Program. Call to make reservations 3 business days ahead for local trips, and 4 business days ahead for Boston trips. FARES:$ .46 cents per mile, plus parking and tolls Senior Center: The COA van transports seniors to and from the Senior Center on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday between the hours of 8:00 -8:45 a.m. (pick up) and 12:15 – 12:30 pm (return). Call to make reservations 1 business day in advance. FARES: $2.00 round trip Market Basket: On Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays, The COA van transports seniors from the Senior Center to the Market Basket in North Andover (Route 114). Sign up the day before at the Senior Center.FARES: $3.00 round tripRockingham Mall: Last Monday of the month, the COA transports North Andover seniors to the Rockingham Mall, leaving the Senior Center at 1:00 pm and returning at 4:00 pm. FARES: $5.00 round trip The Senior Center also arranges transportation for special events (seasonal events). Check the web site for more information.
