Basic Information: Stoneham COA Van; Address: 136 Elm Street Stoneham, MA 02180; Customer Service: 781-438-1157; Website: https://www.stonehamseniorcenter.org/transportation/; Description: The Stoneham COA Van provides transportation to seniors and adults who reside in Stoneham with disabilities for shopping trips, senior center trips, local errands as well other day trips. Only have one van, which is not wheelchair equipped, if the person seeking a ride is immobile or has a wheeled mobility device, they are referred to The Ride. Services rides to any of the stores on Main St up to Redstone and its shopping areas, as well as rides to the Library.

Grocery Shopping Transportation: Rides for shopping is available to Stop & Shop and Market Basket with the use of the senior center van. A fee of $3.00 per ride is requested. Please call the center at 781-438-1157 for more details on the transportation services.

Medical Rides: If you need a ride to a medical appointment, please call the Senior Center for further details at 781-438-1157.

Quick Stops: Thursdays at 9:00 AM stopping at convenient locations on Main St. $3 per ride

Walmart: On the 1st Wednesday of each month, the van leaves the center at 1:00 pm to pick up passengers and leaves for Walmart at approximately 2:30 pm to return to Stoneham. 6 residents max. $3.00 per trip.

FARES: Free to the Senior Center ; $2-3 depending on store
