- Description: The Brewster Council on Aging Bus provides the following weekday trips: Senior Center: Every Tuesday and Thursday for lunch at no cost. Call the COA at 508-896-2737 to book your ride after reserving your dining spot (508-896-5070). Grocery Shopping: Every Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 am – reservation necessary by calling 508-896-2737. This shopping trip makes stops at The Christmas Tree Shop, Stop and Shop and TJ Maxx in Orleans and Shaw’s Market, CVS and the other shops at Skaket Corners. $2.00 donation per round-trip. Orleans Daycare Center: Contact the COA for more information. The Brewster Council on Aging also sponsors a Volunteer Medical Drivers Program for transportation to medical appointments in their personal cars. Medical appointments will go as far as Hyannis. Please call the COA as soon as you make an appointment or AT LEAST FOUR (4) BUSINESS DAYS IN ADVANCE. Please notify the COA if you cannot keep your appointment. Rides further than Hyannis will not be provided. Appointments should be scheduled between 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. The Wheelchair Accessible Medical Van is a limited volunteer based program. Please call the COA as soon as you make an appointment or AT LEAST ONE (1) WEEK IN ADVANCE. You must be accompanied by a caregiver. Please notify the COA if you cannot keep your appointment.
