Basic Information: Marblehead COA Van; Address: 10 Humphrey Street Marblehead, MA 01915; Customer Service: (781) 639-3430; Website: https://www.marblehead.org/council-aging/files/transportation-schedule-and-ride-details; Description: The Marblehead Council on Aging (COA) provides transportation, by reservation, for Marblehead residents age 60 or older and to Marblehead residents who are under age 60 and disabled. COA vans are used for rides to medical appointments, Senior Center activities, shopping, hair appointments, banking, social activities and volunteer positions within Marblehead, as well as for out-of-town medical appointments. Reservations for transportation must be made at least 2 business days in advance. If we are unable to accommodate your request due to a full schedule, we will do our best to give you information regarding alternatives. Rides are provided Monday through Friday except for holidays. ? In-Town rides are provided between 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ? Out-of-Town medical appointments from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm. Only approximate pick up times are given: ? In-Town pick up time is up to ½ hour prior to appointment. ? Out-of-Town pick up time is up to 1 hour prior to appointment. The van driver cannot wait longer than 5 minutes at pick up. Please ensure you are ready.
