- Description: Cohasset Elder Affairs offers easy and convenient transportation services for all residents 60 years and older or disabled in the community. This popular transportation service makes trips to key locations in the surrounding area such as shopping malls, supermarkets, and medical buildings.
To schedule an at-home pick up please contact the Elder Affair Office no less than 24 hours in advanced at 781-383-9112. Van passenger availability is on a first come, first serve basis; all transportation will occur, weather permitting.

AROUND TOWN – services to locations within Cohasset including the post office, library, Buttonwood Books, CVS, Supercuts, Bank of America, Rockland Trust, Old Colony Shops, Hingham Lumber, Aubuchon Hardware and downtown businesses.
Trips every Monday between 11am and 1pm, and Wednesday between 8:45am and 11am.
For service to Stop & Shop or Shaw’s in Cohasset, please call the Elder Affairs Office at 781-383-9112 to schedule an at-home pickup.
The Elder Affairs Office coordinates transportation services to lunch at the Senior Center every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with pick-up times starting at 11 a.m. with return trips home beginning at 1 p.m.
MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION – must be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Availability is on a first come first serve basis. A donation of $5.00 is requested for all rides outside of Cohasset.
CEA Medical Van – Offers Medical transportation within a 15 mile radius of Cohasset and is handicapped accessible. Runs Monday through Friday.
Medical Access Program (MAP) – Out-of-town appointments for adults 60+. Wheelchair accessible. Free service made possible via South Shore Elder Services through Title III-B funding under the Older Americans Act. Donations are encouraged to offset the costs. Monday through Friday.
Friends In Service to Humanity (F.I.S.H.) – Offers transportation services to out of town medical appointments Monday through Friday (no wheelchair accessibility). This service is carried out by volunteer drivers using private vehicles.
FARES: Suggested donation $5.00 for trips outside of Cohasset
