- Description: Individual Rides – Medical and Non-Medicalprovided for the Essex Council on Aging by Beauport Ambulance Services (through 06/30/2021) beginning 07/01/2021 transportation will be provided through CATA Available Monday through Friday only from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Destinations include medical appointments, grocery stores, pharmacy, banks, fitness facility, general stores, post office, Senior Centers, etc. Transportation is also available daily to the Essex Senior Center! For transportation after 07/01/2021, please complete and return the following form: CATA Application Available locations: Rockport Gloucester Manchester Essex Ipswich Hamilton Wenham Beverly Danvers Peabody Salem *(07/01/2021) To schedule an appointment, call: Beauport Ambulance Services 978-281-6955 for rides before 06/30/2021 CATA 978-283-7916 for rides on or after 07/01/2021 or if you need assistance with scheduling transportation, please call Essex COA Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm 978-768-7932, press 1 for front desk. DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE If you need transportation to a location outside of our service area, please call us directly so we can accommodate you. The Essex Council on Aging contracts with Beauport Transportation to provide curb-to-curb van transportation for both medical appointments and shopping trips.
