- Description: “COVID-19 Rider Alert: Updated 7/9/2020 All passengers must wear a medical or cloth mask to cover their mouth and nose while on board PVTA vehicles.All riders are required to exit the bus at the end of its route and may not re-board the same vehicle for the immediate return trip. Multiple or consecutive round trips are not permitted and riders who appear to be loitering on the bus will be asked to deboard. ************************************************************************ The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) fixed-route service is comprised of over 50 routes, including town shuttles, college shuttles, and express routes. Most service is organized around Springfield, but routes are also organized around smaller hubs in Holyoke and Northampton.
