The center’s mission is to enhance and promote the best quality of life for elders from Plainville and surrounding towns. The center provides many programs, including social, nutritional, legal, financial, health, fitness, mobility, educational, and safety. The center acts as a resource for daily exercise, meals-on-wheels distribution, transportation, art workshops, benefits counseling, veterans’ advocacy, and intergenerational programs.Transportation: Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm., some evenings for special activities. Must be 60 years or under 60 with a disability and with a GATRTA pass. Wheelchairs lift is available. Medical rides a priority, but no restrictions. Advanced 24 hours notice.
