- Description: FOR AVON RESIDENTS ONLY. The Avon Council on Aging schedules COA van services for Avon seniors 65+ years old and for persons with disabilities. The service is for shopping, doctor appointments, and visits with friends anywhere within the town of Avon as well as limited service to surrounding communities. To arrange a trip, call the Council on Aging before 1:00 p.m., at least two days in advance.
