Hadley, MA 01035
The Hadley Council on Aging (COA) sponsors a Senior Center van. The van is equipped with a wheelchair lift and provides a repeating route.
The route begins at the Golden Court housing complex. Then, travels east on Route 9/Russell Street, making stops at the major shopping plazas and mall on the south side. It picks up passengers at the Vesta complex on Greenleaves Drive (with stops at senior and family housing).
On the way back to Golden Court it stops at the shopping plazas on the north side of the route, Mountain View apartments and at the medical offices on and close to the route. The service may be scheduled ahead assuming that they won’t cause a major schedule disruption. If you are over 60 and need out of town medical rides, please contact Lauren in advance at 413-586-4023 ext. 3, she will work with our volunteers to try and accommodate your ride.
Available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:15am, 10:30am and 11:45am. The 11:45am loop is one way only and will not come back.
