Description of Services

Individual Rides - Medical and Non-Medical provided for the Essex Council on Aging by Beauport Ambulance Services (through 06/30/2021) beginning 07/01/2021 transportation will be provided through CATA

Available Monday through Friday only from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Destinations include medical appointments, grocery stores, pharmacy, banks, fitness facility, general stores, post office, Senior Centers, etc. Transportation is also available daily to the Essex Senior Center! For transportation after 07/01/2021, please complete and return the following form: CATA Application

The Essex Council on Aging contracts with Beauport Transportation to provide curb-to-curb van transportation for both medical appointments and shopping trips. This service is for Essex residents who are 60 years of age or older. The van is wheelchair accessible and equipped with a lift.
